If your company is utilizing our Activity by User Sales Report it's important that all tasks to call, email, etc have been recorded.  Hatchbuck gives you the ability to backdate a task so you can be sure all of your activity and hard work will show up in that report! 


  • In either the Tasks tab or the Contact Record, create a new task and fill in the necessary information including the date that the task was due in the past 
  • If you've already completed the task be sure to check the task is complete box
  • If you have not completed the task, just leave that box alone  


  • Click create task button 
  • If you still need to complete the task it will be displayed in the task list view under the filter active tasks 
  • If you the checked the box that the task is complete it will be displayed under the filter completed tasks

The task will now be noted in the Activity by User Sales Report.
