If you haven't used a system like Hatchbuck before, you may be unfamiliar with the concept of Website Visitor Tracking. We're here to explain everything!
Why should you track your webpage visitors?
The simple answer is because it allows you to send the right information to the right people at the right time. Increasing your contacts' engagement with your marketing efforts and...increasing sales!
Here's some examples of how this works:
- Hatchbuck's webpage tracking is integrated with our Contact Scoring so that contacts' scores increase as they click around your site. [Now you can easily sort by your most engaged Contacts in your Contact List View.]
- You can view this activity from your dashboard to get a great feel for which pages on your site are visited most often and which contacts are on your site at that exact time.
- You can automate through webpage tracking with things like Tags. This will allow you to tag individual pages and start monitoring your contacts' interests and behaviors through that score. You'll then be able to set up a Tag Rule to trigger things like alerting a sales rep if they've gone to your pricing page 3 times.
As you can see, webpage tracking can help you segment your leads and focus your great marketing efforts specifically on those more engaged (and more likely to buy!).
